Lion Kitty is an Air Force brat that grew up in various parts of the country and lived in Japan for a year.  Her father retired after being stationed at Beale AFB and lived in Marysville.

Lion Kitty went to Yuba Community College and graduated with an Associate of Science degree in Animal Health Technology.  After graduating, she began working for the State of California.  She also met Cabinet Treasurer (CT) Dennis Kramer at college and they have been married for 38 years.

Lion Kitty retired as a Program Manager/Assistant Division Chief from the Department of Motor Vehicles after 38+ years of service, with an expertise in registration and titling.  She had the opportunity to promote through the years.  She was also a Registration/Titling Policy Manager and divisional Chief of Staff.  In her last position, she managed several high profile programs including:  special license plates; Clean Air Decals; workflows processes and procedures; training; managed 150+ employees; and oversaw all divisional high level customer service issues and written correspondence. She currently works for the department as a part-time retired annuitant.

For Lions, Kitty has been a member for over 10 years.  She has served as a club treasurer; public relations chair; club bulletin editor; student speaker chair; and assisted with many club projects and fundraiser dinners.

For District 4-C5, she was the Women’s Development Chair for three years; Pride Bulletin Editor (2015—2016); and since 2015, she has been on the  Special Kids Day committee and is the website administrator and secretary. Most recently, Lion Kitty was the 2016—2017 Gordon Zone Chair.

Lion Kitty is a Melvin Jones Fellow, Student Speaker Foundation Fellow; Club co-Lion of the Year (with CT Dennis); and 2016-2017 co-Zone Chair of the Year.  She was awarded the DG Appreciation Award as the Pride Bulletin Editor; awarded the Club Bulletin of the Year for 2015-2016 and 2016-2017; and received International Recognition for the 2015-2016 District and Club Bulletins.

Lion Kitty and CT Dennis’s pride and joy are their two beautiful daughters, Shawn (Trevor Pope-Lance) and Becca.
